Dal Puri recipe – Bangladeshi dal puri recipe
It is a Bengali recipe 💕, it is also a indian recipe. I made it every days snacks. Our family like it a lot.
It is the best easiest dalpuri recipe in world.
Ingredients :
-All Purpose Flour(Maida) : 3 cups
-Water : 1 cup + 2 tablespoon
-Salt : 1 teaspoon
-Ghee/oil : 1/4 cup
For Lentil Filling:
- Masoor dal/Red lentil - 1/4 cup
- Water - 1 cup
- Crispy Fried onion(Beresta) - 1/4 cup
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dry Red Chili - 2-4 pieces
- Coriander - 2 tablespoon chopped
Instructions:
Preparation:
- Mix flour, oil, salt in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Then add water and mix well.
- Keep kneading until soft and rubbery dough.
- Then need to cover with a dump cloth and rest for 2-3 hours.
Lentil Filling:
- Wash lentil well. Boil with one cup of water and let it cool.
- Mash with roasted dry chili, salt, coriander and keep aside.
Method:
After 2-3 hours divide the dough into some portion and make some balls. Put some oil over the balls. Spread some oil on the rolling space.Then put a piece of one ball and press with your hand and make a small round shape wrap. Press the edges into thin than the middle portion of the wrap(ruti).
- Put lentil filling on the middle of the wrap and close the edges.After that you need to take press a little and roll carefully and make a round 1/4 inch thick puri.
- Heat enough oil for deep fried pan on medium heat.Then you make all puries at the same process and put on a flat large tray.
- Take one puri and fry for 3-4 minutes on medium heat until deep golden brown. Need to fry all puries and keep on a pepper napkin.
- Then serve with sprinkle bit lobon over puri and salad or sauce or curry.
Notes:
- At least one hour rest the dough.
- At the edges of the flat flour wrap make slightly thin .
- On medium heat fry for 3-4 minutes per batch .
- And Finally serve hot Dal Puri to get perfect taste.
